“Breaking Through,” by the acclaimed marine artist Willard Bond, is featured on the 2009 poster for Hospice Regattas. These posters were signed by the artist, but not numbered.
Bond, who died in 2012, was a determined advocate for hospice care and a longtime supporter of hospice regattas. Willard’s family continues to make his distinctive images of sailing and sailboat racing available to help raise funds and awareness for non-profit hospice services.
